I work on the unglamorous middle of software: the workflows, requirements and operational knowledge that decide whether a system is actually usable once it reaches the people who depend on it.

Most of what I build starts as something a team already does by hand — a reporting process, a release check, an interview that only one person knows how to run — and ends as a system that does it reliably, with the failure modes handled deliberately rather than discovered in production.
